Winterizing & Good Maintenance Practices
Summer was a blast, but now it's time to give your camper some love.
Our campers are built to withstand all that Mother Nature can throw at them, but the tips below will help in keeping all components in the best shape for maximum enjoyment and longevity.
Rain in the forecast? Stay inside, rest easy & dry
It might be time to seam seal your tent! Apply 1-2 coats of Aurora DRI-Stitch Seam Sealant anywhere the tent has been sewn. As the name suggests, seam sealant will create a hydrophobic coating to the threads of your tent, ensuring water does not saturate and weep inside. Be very careful not to drip any of this product on your powder coating! It's safe for your tent but not for your camper.

Protect your white roof vinyl once a month, or after every car wash, with a spray on wrap guard.
This spray on product extends the longevity of the vinyl on your roof, protecting it against harmful UV, road grime, and environmental pollutants.

Keep struts lubricated and clean with white lithium grease.
Struts should be regularly exercised, cleaned, and well lubricated.

Soooo Cozy...
Insulating your camper is going to make that heater 10x more efficient, saving your power bank when solar just ain't cutting it in winter. Running a heater will also help with any condensation worries, keeping your down sleeping bag dry and toes toasty. If you're not running a heat source, always keep that air flow moving!
All in all, we LOVE winter camping. But if it's not your season, we get that. Try not to neglect your camper during the winter & it'll be ready for ya come spring time!
