If you've spent any time around overlanding rigs, you've probably seen MOLLE panels; the grid pattern that seems ubiquitous with the industry. But MOLLE isn't a gimmick for civilians, it's an easy way to clean up your space, keep the essentials quickly accessible, and impress your campmates with how dialed your setup is..

Not everything belongs in a deep, black hole bin or drawer.

In fact, when you're camping, you probably want most things accessible to you at any given time. A helpful way to think about storage is separating your gear between two categories: Quick Access and Bulk Storage. By utilizing vertical storage, you've dramatically increased your usable space to fit daily use items like: headlamps, multi tools, first aid, cookware, paper towels, trash bags, dog leashes, dog bowls, sunscreen, hats, gloves...the list goes on. Need it quick? Throw it on the MOLLE panel.

Personalizing your setup overtime

With modular in the name, it's obvious that MOLLE can change with your setup. Adding someone to the family? Congrats, you now have a dedicated Tacti-Cool diaper bag on your MOLLE (we do). Girlfriend broke up with you? Now you've got the space for a range bag. Your needs will change, and your layout can too. 

No limit to what you can attach

You don't have to buy the fancy MOLLE bags if you don't want. Sure, it's helpful and looks nice, but if you have shock cord or velcro it works just as well. If you want to take the MOLLE panel off and DIY something, it's super simple to attach mechanical fasteners as well. And don't let anybody judge you, either. A good solution when the weather is crummy

Keeping vertical storage means more open floor space. Even if you're primarily camping solo, this is still important when the weather goes foul and you're hunkered down inside. If you're waiting out a storm, a clean and organized interior makes a huge difference.
